Did you know that Anglesey, the home of GoFeyrdd house, is also home to a village with the longest name in Europe, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoc󠁧󠁢h? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The name was coined in the 19th century, and literally translates to "the church of St. Mary in a hollow of white hazel near a rapid whirlpool and the church of St. Tysilio near the red cave", though nowadays you can just call it Llanfairpwllgwyngyll.

This large village is situated just 30 minutes away from GoFerydd with some wonderful attractions close by. Head to the iconic Llanfairpwll Railway Station, take a stroll over the Menai Bridge, or explore the beautiful golden gardens at the National Trust's Plas Newydd.
