Step into the shoes of a Romantic poet in Grasmere
If there is one man that knows romance, it is one of the best romantic poets, William Wordsworth. And what better way to spend a romantic getaway than to visit the place where he wrote many of his greatest poems? Dove Cottage in Grasmere is where William Wordsworth lived from 1799 to 1808. Today it is a homage to him and his sister Dorothy with little moments taken from the Wordsworths’ poems, journals and letters telling the story of their life.
